What We Do:
What are we trying to understand?
Three things are happening in most developed countries that
have significant implications for Canadian and global economies:
- workers are getting older;
- the way work gets done in
the new economy is changing and;
- there has been substantial
growth in information technology (IT) employment.
Our project
is unique in trying to understand the relationships among
all three of these trends. To do that we developed an international
research consortium made up of 16 co-investigators and over
two dozen partners from Canada, the United States, the European
Union, and Australia.
