Dr. Kerry Platman

Dr. Kerry Platman is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a member of CIRCA, the Cambridge Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Ageing. She specialises in management approaches, employment practices and policy responses to workforce ageing. She has undertaken a number of research studies on age and employment issues, including projects on flexible transitions into retirement and age-related training deficits. She is the author of publications and reports in both academic and non-academic journals, including the co-editing of a collection of articles on 'Age, Employment and Policy' for the journal Social Policy & Society. This was published by Cambridge University Press in 2004. She was awarded an ESRC post-doctoral fellowship in 2002.
